Scottish mining museum receives £1.3 million

The Scottish Mining Museum has been pledged £1.3 million from the Scottish Government, following the recent withdrawl of funding by Midlothian Council and Historic Scotland, as reported on this blog in February (Scottish Mining Museum - Funding Crisis).
